Our Story
Mould Base SA is a family business with roots going back to 1967, when our founder first entered the plastics industry. What began as a single-generation passion became a legacy – in the early 1990’s, the business passed to the next generation, carrying forward the same hands-on commitment that built it.
For years we ran our own injection moulding operation, producing large plastic components for the white goods industry. We ran the machines, troubleshot the problems, managed the pressures of production, and learned firsthand what it truly takes to keep a moulding operation performing at its best. That knowledge was earned on the factory floor – not in a sales office.
When we closed our moulding operation in 2012, we didn’t step away from the industry – we stepped into a new role within it. We began selling and servicing injection moulding equipment, bringing with us something most suppliers simply can’t offer: the perspective of people who have actually stood at the machine.
